Constance (Connie) Chang is Johnny Tan’s ex-wife and current detective on the Plasticity vice squad. Married at a young age, Connie couldn’t take Johnny’s cavalier lifestyle and commitment to crime, so in an effort to find purpose and do good in the world, she divorced Johnny and joined the police academy the next day. Working her way up the ladder, Connie is a brilliant and brave detective determined to make a difference. Even if she might still carry a torch for Johnny.
